Dieting

There are hundreds of diets, weight loss plans, diet pills and exercise routines to the desire of individuals to be thin. Many people would like a quick fix and use these diet pills and detox theories which are so dangerous to the human body and mind. I have some what struggled with my weight, my body just wants to stay at a whopping 116! I'm sure dietitians and nutritionists would argue, although I feel as though Weight Watchers is the best diet out there right now.

Weight watchers is a diet plan, although it is healthy and actually good for your body. It includes all the major food groups in your daily food intake and has you reach a healthy amount of daily calories. It also includes exercise and you are able to go out to eat on this plan. Weight watchers in on a point system, giving every food or beverage you put into your mouth a point value (most vegetables being zero, a big mac is 14 and a glass of wine is 2). The number of points one can consume in a day depends on your gender, age, starting weight, and activity level. If you choose to work out for a significant amount of time, you may also add points to your day which enables you to eat more. Weight watchers is healthy, easy and it actually works. I have done this a few times and lost a significant amount of weight. Now, I am back on it and lost 5 pounds in two weeks. It is not a quick diet, although they say the less your loose in a week the less likely it is to gain back afterwards. So, the next time you are ready for a change or your jeans are little snug, give Weight Watchers a try instead of doing it the fast, pill popping way. Visit WeightWatchers.com for more information.

I know a lot of people who have tried Weight Watchers and it really does work if you stick with it. My grandmother tried it, and lost a lot of weight. She told me that just writing down and documenting her food intake helps so much. It also is a great diet because it does not cut out any major food groups, so you can still get your essential nutrients. You are allowed to choose what you want to eat, so it is a lifetime diet and maintainable. Weight Watchers is basically about protions sizes. The healthy way to lose weight is no more than one pound a week, which most fad diets or diet pills do not encourage.

I know many people who have done weight watchers and still are doing it today. I also believe that it works and compared to the many other diet plans and ways to lose weight weight watchers it one of the most sufficient. I have seen people lose a healthy amount of weight and keep it off. However, I have also seen people lose the weight, then stop doing weight watchers, and then gain it all back again. I believe that with weight watchers it is important for people to stick with it in order to get the best results. Good blog!

Weight Watchers works! It is the only sane way to lose weight because not only does it put losing weight in healthy measures, but it promotes a permanant lifestyles change that will keep the weight off. The weight will just come right back if you don't adopt the changes you installed to lose the weight. I used to weigh 200 pounds and lost a good majority of the weight through diet and exercise, but the last 15 pounds I've lost I've done through weight watchers. It's a great way to keep track and monitor your eating habits, which so many people put so much emphasis on to losing weight. Weight Watchers also puts emphasis on physical activity, which is another reason why I like it better than other weight loss recommendations like Atkins or the Zone. Such diets make people think food is the enemy, when really all you need is a little monitoring and movement.

I agree that weight watchers is one of the only "diets" that works. It is not so much a diet as it is teaching people how to eat healthy and make smart choices. It doesn't tell you what you can and can't eat, but you do learn to eat in moderation and eat better food. I have a friend who tried it and lost a lot of weight. Go weight watchers.
